A Fun New Year—Politically

For John, BLUFJust more grist for the mill.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

From Politico we have Reporter Steven Shepard, on New Years Day, giving us a look at the near future—"Insiders give their top predictions for 2016".
Get ready for a Ted Cruz-Nikki Haley ticket. And a GOP establishment freak-out in January.
and these are just a couple of the predictions, with this the lede:
These are just a handful of 2016 predictions from members of The POLITICO Caucus — a collection of the top activists, strategists and operatives in the first four states that will cast ballots next year.
It is going to be a fun ride.

And, by the way, I like the idea of a Ted Cruz-Nikki Haley ticket.  Put a minority on the ticket.  Heck, put two minorities and a woman on the ticket.  But, I am still being opened minded.  Here in Lowell we have until 1 March to make up our minds, although we have only until 6 February to rearrange our Party Affiliation for the 1 March Primary.  If you are a registered Democrat you can't walk in and pull a Republican ballot on 1 March.  But, if you are Unenrolled, you can go either way, or some other option, like Libertarian or Green or….  But, you have only a month to switch party colors.

If you wish to see Mr Donald Trump, live, Monday, at the Tsongas arena, click here for tickets.

Hat tip to the InstaPundit.

One of my more imaginative, but Internet Challenged friends sends along this Comment to my Home EMail:

"Not a chance.  GOP, violently, objected to a one term senator being president.  Cruz is a Canadian, need to inspect and demand his long form birth certificate.  Tea Cult in Congress can't and won't do a thing for the good of the country.  Their purpose is to destroy the Democratic process of debate and compromise.  Teddy Cruiser is the head destroyer.  Hope and change from the GOP is an oxymoron.  The only GOP guy better than Donald Gump's chances to insure a Clinton Presidency is Teddy Cruiser.  Yes….."
