The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Movement in Washington Gridlock?

For John, BLUFToo early, but maybe the President knows that, knows that the two Republicans could be replaced by their caucuses.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

The President has invited the Top Four from Capitol Hill to stop by on Friday.  The Top Four.  What about the President of the Senate, Joe Biden?

My own view, from off shore, through heavy lenses, is that gridlock in Washington has been, is, and will be centered in Senator Harry Reid's office.

My second thought is that it is not clear from this distance that the Republican Leaders will still be holding those offices come January of 2015.  I think continuity would be a good thing, but my liking it doesn't guarantee it.

Hat tip to Ann Althouse.
