The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

State Senate Debate

For John, BLUFDabate is good.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

It is ongoing right now at The [Lowell] Sun, where Challenger James Buba is concern that with low income housing we can't get out of our own way. Incumbent Eileen Donoghue is now arguing that we have been fairly successful in bringing in market rate housing.  She then says that 40B is not a factor in Lowell, but it is outside.  Then the Julian Steele Project—housing for returning WWII Vets—never meant to be permanent.  Back to Jim and a problem with maintenance.  Eileen notes it was hard to make J/S go away.  Now it is River's Edge.  Looking to the next phase.

Moderator Chris Scott is happy with rehabbed Tyngsboro Bridge.  I secretly demure.

Both talk about infrastructure rehab.
