New Mouse

I asked a number of my relatives for a new mouse for Christmas.  I was pretty specific.  Someone in the family came through.  Here are a couple of pictures.
You think it is just another Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpet sitting next to the computer, but I know it as a "USB Optical Mouse with Scroll Wheel".
Neat!

Nothing can beat a Butterscotch Krimpet.  And, from time to time I see them up here in Eastern Massachusetts.

One of the interesting facets of Versus' coverage of the NHL is their use of local announcers for some of their featured games. Whenever it happens that the Flyers are on, and one of theirs scores, there's often the mention that the scorer has just won a case of TastyKake. It always makes me nostalgic for birch beer and shoofly pie, though not so much for Kate Smith. Go Bruins!

Shoofly Pie is too rich for me, but I love birch beer.  And, I love Kate Smith.  In the mid-1950s her show was on the TV when I got home from school, or just ending, actually.  But, then, my taste in music is up for discussion right now.  On Christmas I put my iPod on speaker and played my Christmas list.  At one point I said to my wife that I thought our tastes differed somewhat and she agreed—"I like classical and you like sentimental".  There you have it.
