The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Blogging Through It

The Washington Post today has an article on an Army wife who began a blog the day she learned that her husband had been seriously wounded by an IED while in Afghanistan.
Fourteen months later, more than 160,000 people -- the vast majority of them strangers -- have visited the site, http://yllescasfamily.blogspot.com.
The name is pronounced YESCAS.

Brought tears to my eyes.
